Thank you for joining us on our new adventure! We create uniquely satisfying spirits and the results are our Hellisøy Habanero Vodka & Hellisøy Vodka. Our products are American made and our inspiration is our ancestors' journey from Norway to the United States. We invite you to explore our heritage and learn more about our vodka so that you can get a taste for who we are!

The original formulation for our habanero infused vodka started with the orange habanero peppers grown in our family garden. Hellisøy is currently available in Florida & New York City. We can't wait for you to try it!

Brand Inspiration

Hellisøy is a tribute to the spirit and determination of our ancestors' journey from Norway to America three generations ago. Bjarne, who was born in Fedje in 1900, was a farmer and fisherman before setting off for America on October 6, 1923. He is the inspiration for our brand.

Fishermen are indelibly linked to lighthouses and so, too, is Hellisøy. Our logo depicts the second-oldest cast iron lighthouse in Norway, located off the southwest coast of Fedje. Bjarne relied on Hellisøy lighthouse throughout his younger years as a fisherman and we strive to carry on his legacy.

We take pride in our heritage and we look forward to sharing our spirit with the Hellisøy community!

Habanero Vodka & Botanical Vodka

Hellisøy is defined by our family's commitment to crafting a unique spirit with only fresh, high quality, and natural ingredients. We distill Hellisøy Habanero & Hellisøy Vodka locally in Palm Beach County in our home state of Florida.

We create our signature habanero vodka by infusing our Florida corn neutral spirit with fresh, hand-selected habanero peppers. We are proud to announce that Hellisøy Habanero Vodka earned a Gold Medal at the New York International Spirits Competition. Hellisøy also received the distinction of Best Flavored Vodka Distillery of 2016!

Hellisøy Vodka Cocktails

At Hellisøy, we celebrate finely crafted cocktails, especially those drinks that benefit from a punch of heat! Just below, you will find a few of our favorites that we consider the quintessential cocktails when it comes to Hellisøy Vodka. Be sure to try them out yourself, feel free to create your own, and let us know what you think!

Hellisøy Smokin' Hot Bloody Mary

2 oz. Hellisøy Habanero, 4 oz. Tomato Juice, 1 oz. Lime Juice, 1/2 tsp. Grated Horseradish, 3 dashes Worcestershire Sauce, Salt & Pepper

Always garnish festively and with reckless abandon!

To Hellisøy & Back

2 oz. Hellisøy Habanero, 1 oz. Rosemary & Lime Infused Simple Syrup, 1 oz. Soda Water, 1/2 oz. Lime Juice, Mint Leaves

Muddle 5 mint leaves in the bottom of your glass and pour ingredients over crushed ice. Garnish with rosemary.

Hellisøy Raging Mule

2 oz. Hellisøy Habanero, 3 oz. Ginger Beer, 1 oz. Lime Juice, 1/2 oz. Simple Syrup

Find your favorite copper mug to enjoy chilled perfection! Garnish with a lime wedge and mint leaf.

Hellisøy Cosmopolitan

1.5 oz. Hellisøy Vodka, 1 oz. Cointreau, 1 oz. Cranberry Juice, 1 oz. Lime Juice

Combine all of the ingredients into a shaker over ice and strain the cocktail into a martini glass. Garnish with a lemon or lime twist.

Hellisøy Dare Devil Shot

1 oz. Hellisøy Habanero, 1 oz. Fireball Cinnamon Whisky

Combine the two spirits into your favorite shot glass and enjoy the smooth, satisfying punch of heat!

Hellisøy White Zombie

1.5 oz. Hellisøy Vodka, 1.5 oz. Rum Chata, 1.5 oz. Malibu Coconut Rum

Combine all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously and indulge after pouring over ice in a rocks glass.

Hellisøy Northern Lights

1.5 oz. Hellisøy Habanero, 2 oz. St. Germain, 1 oz. Lime Juice, Mint Leaves, Splash of Soda Water

Muddle the mint leaves with the splash of soda water in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and then pour the remaining ingredients into the shaker. Strain the cocktail into a martini glass. Garnish with a mint leaf.

Hellisøy Michelada

1.5 oz. Hellisøy Habanero, 4 oz. Modelo Especial, 1 oz. Lime Juice, 2 oz. Bloody Mary Mix

Combine all of the ingredients into a shaker over ice and strain the cocktail into a pint glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Hellisøy Crème D'Or Shot

1/2 oz. Hellisøy Vodka, 1/2 oz. Bacardi Gold, 1/2 oz. Rum Chata, Whipped Cream, Cinnamon (1 shot)

Combine the liquor ingredients into a shaker over ice and pour into a shot glass. Top the shot with the whipped cream and dust with cinnamon. Multiply each liquor ingredient by how many shots you would like to share with friends!
